Head Start and Early Head Start serves the child development needs
of preschool children (pre-birth through age five) and their families. Head Start
and Early Head Start programs provide comprehensive services to eligible families
including health services, child development, early education services, and access
to community resources. The program insures ten percent of total enrollment opportunities
for inclusion of children with disabilities.
