Job training available with the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work-based training program designed to promote economic self-sufficiency for older workers.  Participants are assigned to work at one of a variety of non-profit or government agencies that have entered into a work agreement with the Region 9 AAA.  Program training is designed to provide skills that enable participants to obtain unsubsidized employment. 
The program requires that participants be at least 55 years of age and have a family income of no more than 125% ($15,075 for a family of 1) of the federal poverty level, and be currently unemployed.  Enrollment priority is given to individuals over age 60, veterans and qualified spouses of veterans.

Montmorency County (Atlanta) – Office Assistant
