MSHDA and Michigan Community Action Visit NEMCSA to Highlight Rural Housing and Community Services
NEMCSA recently welcomed representatives from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and Michigan Community Action (MCA) to Alpena for a day of discussion, collaboration, and program visits focused on housing and community development.
The visit provided an opportunity for state and community action leaders to learn more about the challenges and successes experienced in Northeast Michigan. Guests toured NEMCSA programs and met with staff to discuss housing, weatherization, and other services that help residents build stability and improve their quality of life.
Throughout the day, participants exchanged ideas about strengthening housing opportunities, supporting vulnerable populations, and ensuring resources reach communities across Michigan's rural regions.
