Region 9 Area Agency on Aging Partners with the Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center for FREE Alpena Educational Event
"The Aging Brain: What's Normal vs. a Warning Sign?"
This event will cover common challenges in aging, including what “normal aging” looks like as well as signs and symptoms of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Dementia. It will also cover support options to meet and overcome challenges and next steps if you are concerned about your memory and thinking abilities. Free cognitive screenings will be available for those who are interested, sign up for screenings day of the event on a first come first serve basis.
