NEMCSA utilizes three year contracts to support the MI Choice Waiver Program services and Care Management purchase of service needs.
New providers may apply during the three year contract period. The approval process includes the return of all required documentation as listed in the contract paperwork in addition to passing an on-site visit (review).
Fiscal years begin in October and end in September. There are annual provider meetings conducted to provide updates of any new amendments, changes or just reminders for the contracts. These meetings are usually held in September or October, depending on the release of information from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) with updates.
