Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency, NEMCSA, is thrilled to announce the overwhelming support of more than $25,000 and acknowledge the generous donations received from more than 600 women members of the Midland 100 Club, a beloved organization of our local community.

Midland 100 Club has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the well-being of the community. Their recent donations have left a lasting impact on NEMCSA’s mission and ability to effect the positive change in the lives of those we serve.

These donations will be dedicated to enhancing the playground at the Midland Head Start location and will play a pivotal role in breathing new life into the places where children play and grow.  Some additions will include picnic tables, STEM supplies and equipment, gardens, waterplay, music and movement, reading areas to enhance literacy skills, mud kitchen, outdoor blocks, outdoor stage, to introduce and encourage skills and imagination, problem solving along with introducing the performing arts.

“I'm in awe of the giving and caring ladies of the 100 club,” exclaims Vickie Rutledge, Area Manager for Head Start. “It is with great appreciation from the bottom of my heart and now our preschool children will get to experience a safe inviting outdoor environment for years to come.”
