NEMCSA Holds Elections for Consumer Representatives for the agency Board of Directors
Important Information regarding election.
NEMCSA will hold an election for Consumer seats on the Board of Directors. As one of Michigan’s 27 Community Action Agencies (CAAs), one-third of NEMCSA’s board is comprised of representatives of low-income (consumer) residents. These representatives are elected to serve for a select term dictated by an democratic selection process.
Who can vote and when is Election Day?
All community members are encouraged to participate on Election Day, May 13, 2025.
Who is running?
Jean Garratt – Board Member, NEMCSA
Jean Garratt has proudly served on the NEMCSA Board since 2015 and currently leads as Chair of the Executive Committee. A strong advocate for early childhood education, Jean brings valuable insight from her experience as a former Head Start Director. She regularly attends Policy Council meetings and plays an active role in supporting the agency’s mission. Jean lives in Rogers City and remains committed to making a difference in the lives of families and individuals across Northeast Michigan.
Pat Rondeau – Board Member, NEMCSA
Pat Rondeau joined the NEMCSA Board in 2015, bringing with her a lifetime of service and compassion. Now retired after a remarkable 52-year career as a nurse, Pat continues to support her community through her involvement at the Alpena Senior Center and as a proud member of the Foster Grandparent/Senior Companion Program (FGP/SCP) Advisory Board. Her dedication to helping others remains unwavering as she seeks re-election to continue advocating for seniors and vulnerable populations.
