When housing program participants enter into their new rentals from homeless situations, they are often faced with having to provide the very basic of needs for their new home with little to no money in their pockets. With help from the community, The Kindness Closet, a closet stocked with essential items, such as toilet paper, trash bags, can openers, and cleaning supplies, can help to provide some of those basic necessities and make the transition that much easier.
