Area Agency on Aging's Information
In Michigan, there are 16 Area Agencies on Aging. Each AAA is authorized under the federal Older Americans Act and state’s Older Michiganians Act. Each is charged with developing and carrying out a plan that will foster a comprehensive, coordinated system of service for older persons and persons with disabilities in its service area.
