The Pre-Bidders Conference
The meeting is usually held in May – provides the opportunity to discuss the RFP in detail. Each applicant agency is provided with a folder containing everything needed for the bidding process – application, instruction, timeline, scoring matrix, service standards, etc. As each component is reviewed, applicants are able to ask questions for clarification. All questions are noted and will be included in the written FAQ that is provided to all applicants, usually about two weeks after the conference (this allows time for questions to be submitted in writing for up to two weeks after the conference, as well).
