The core functions of an Area Agency on Aging are:

Concentrating resources to develop capacity
Developing a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system
Providing planning, program development, administration, and monitoring
Advocating for a vulnerable population

Region 9 Area Agency on Aging is thankful to its partnerships with a number of local and regional entities that have come together as an “aging network” to provide services and supports throughout the region and state.
