Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

SCSEP is a community service and work-based training program that promotes economic self-sufficiency for older workers by providing part-time employment at the current minimum wage. Participants are placed at a variety of non-profit or government agencies. Training is provided to help you gain the skills needed to obtain work outside of the program.  

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Unemployed 
  • Participants must be at least 55 years of age
  • Meet the household income requirements below

Income Requirements:

  • 1 person household: $18,825 annually
  • 2 person household: $25,550 annually
