Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency (NEMCSA) consumers are invited to participate in the 2026 Consumer Representative Board Election on Tuesday, June 2.

Eligible voters may cast one ballot and select up to four candidates to serve on the NEMCSA Board of Directors. Consumer Representatives play an important role in ensuring the voices and experiences of the people NEMCSA serves are reflected in agency leadership and decision-making.

This year's candidates are:

Tamara Frisbie – A longtime advocate for community development and human services, Tammy has served on numerous local boards and is committed to supporting organizations that help individuals and families overcome challenges.

Leo Marciniak – An active community volunteer and current NEMCSA Board member, Leo brings years of experience serving individuals in need and is passionate about strengthening communities throughout Northeast Michigan.

Clarence John Morrison Jr. – With more than a decade of service on the NEMCSA Board, John remains dedicated to supporting families and individuals facing hardship and making a positive difference in his community.

Tina Schumacher – A former Head Start parent and employee, Tina values the opportunity to continue supporting children, families, and older adults through her service on the NEMCSA Board.
